Q: Do you sell real Australian Ugg Boots?
A: Yes. In Australia, Ugg boot is a generic term for a sheepskin boot with the wool on the inside.
Coastal Uggs are authorised specialists of six different brands of both Australian and International ugg boots.
You can take advantage of our wide selection of styles and colours, with sizes ranging from babies through to Men's size 14 and even more importantly, we stock ugg boots made with genuine Australian sheepskin.
Q: Are these boots fake?
A: No. We do not sell synthetic uggs.
'Fake' ugg boots are the cheap sort, made with synthetic microfibre type fabric.
If you are asking whether we sell authentic UGG® the brand, then the answer is yes.
UGG® is one of six different brands which we keep in stock.
Q: I'm confused. I thought there was only one ugg boot. Which one's Australian?
A: Ugg boots is an Australian generic term for a twin-faced sheepskin style of boot.
Twin-faced means the suede is on the outside and the exposed wool is on the inside.

Q: But, I bought Ugg Australia boots online. Why is the label different?
A: Web sites containing Ugg Australia logos are not necessarily genuine UGG® brand boots.
It can be confusing when choosing between UGG® the brand and 'Ugg' the style.
In Australia, there are many Ugg boot companies and also many similar sounding 'Ugg' brands on the market.
Many of them use the word 'UGG' either in their logo or in their marketing. It can all be very confusing.
At Coastal Uggs, we try to cater for all of our customer’s needs, so that you have choices of label, style or price.
Q: Isn't making ugg boots cruel?
A: Sheepskin is a by-product of the meat industry.
Using skins to make ugg boots is a form of re-cycling....just like skins used by any other leather shoe, boot, jacket or furniture manufacturer.
Q: Which size should I order?
A: Please refer to our 'Finding Your Size' page for help on finding your best size, but as a general guide, ladies Aussie sizes are the same as US sizes, but men's Aussie sizes are one size smaller than US sizes.
Consider getting classic style and full sheepskin uggs and slippers, a half to one size smaller than usual, as it is completely normal for them to stretch with wear and start to feel looser.
Genuine sheepskin footwear should be a snug fit, but not uncomfortably tight.
The more structured styles, waterproof boots and leather footwear, tend to run more true to size.
